COVID-19 Support
Along with many obstacles we are facing during COVID-19, the way we access the care and services we need to maintain our health and well-being has changed.
That is why we are taking additional measures to provide supports through our Retiree plans, including the introduction of EQ Care, an innovative virtual health care service, and additional mental health supports.
EQ Care
We are partnering with EQ Care to provide Retiree Plan members access to a virtual care platform during COVID-19. This service will be available at no cost for the remainder of the year.
Through EQ Care, members can access care through specialists and doctors with complete confidentiality, receive condition-specific care, manage prescriptions and receive discrete consulting from a wide network of medical professionals. Members can also receive referrals for specialists or for diagnostic testing.
Connect Now
If you choose a plan with Assistance Program coverage (Retiree Standard), you can instantly connect with a counsellor at no cost through Connect Now, our clinical immediate support line.
Grief Counselling
We are providing up to three counselling sessions at no cost to Manitobans who have experienced a loss during COVID-19. This loss does not have to be related to COVID-19. Sessions are provided through qualified clinicians from our Assistance Program.

- Comprehensive coverage – Not only do we offer the complete suite of benefits – our offerings are unique in the industry. Our specialized offerings include foot care nurse and athletic therapy coverage, hostel care and treat-no-transport ambulance service. We also offer paramedical benefits such as homeopathy, osteopathy and nutritional counselling.
